I am in 8th grade as well. Although i am not Hispanic, i understand what you mean... I am in geometry, and people will sometimes come up to me saying: "Do you have a pre algebra book i can borrow?" Pre-al is 2 math levels below me!!!
The people who think that you couldn't possibly be in geometry and advanced humanities are kind of prejudiced!!! Don't listen to that kind of stuff. They think you couldn't possibly have a 4.0 GPA??????!!!!! What are they thinking? It doesn't matter where your parents and other relatives are from, or where you are from. One of my friends moved here when we were in third grade, and she is also in geometry!!!
Good Luck, Keep your head up high, and don't give up!!! Keep up the good work!!!

unsure you will like my reaction, yet if you consider which you're making a element out of being Hispanic.....as long as you're criminal, I say choose for it and do the very appropriate you're able to do! it somewhat is totally difficult to be in greater instructions, mutually as pulling in appropriate grades. i'm in college now, after some years of elevating babies and working interior the colleges. I also have a appropriate gpa, even with the undeniable fact that it somewhat is stressful! Hats off to you.

no offense but you asked.
it's all stereotypical, many people when they hear of hispanics think poor, druggies...you know, no education type of people. But i mean i know a lot of hispanics who are smart too, so don't worry about anything, it might be because you live in an area with more white people so you think about it too much. you should come to california haha jk , but it is wonderful here! :]

I think that's awesome. I also don't think that race/skin color/gender should effect how a person does academically. Some of the smartest people I know are Hispanic.

Who cares what race you are? That's like asking me, what do you think about people named bob getting advance humanities and geometry in 8th grade?

What does being Hispanic have to do with it? If you can do the work, or anyone for that matter, why the heck not?

I think you probably spend more time doing homework and keeping up with your assignments than many other students do, regardless of their race.
Congratulations -- keep it up and you'll be in university on a nice scholarship!
Buena suerta -- y feliz navidad!

I think any racial group can do AP and a 4.0 GPA. It's not the racial identity, it the person.
Just hold your head up, and keep up the good work!
