No you dont have to show them. Most accountants do not require proof unless they have reasonable cause to believe the information you provide is false. If you file yourself, you don't have to provide proof. EITHER WAY, IF YOU GET AUDITED YOU BETTER HAVE PROOF. Dont be scared, only about 2% of all tax returns are audited. Do you feel lucky?

Not to file, but if you're audited, you'd have a much easier time if you have them all. If you get audited and have most of them, you might get by with a few you don't have if you can show some kind of record of payment. But best thing is to keep them, in some organized way.

You should keep them. They aren't required when you file your tax return, but they are required if you should be audited.
