some people leak colostrum during pregnancy, not milk, and just a little bit. Milk usually comes in very soon after giving birth. For me, it didn't really start to come until day 3. I mean that was when it really started flowing and I was filling bottles.

First of all youre not leaking milk. Its called colostrum, that will be produced in your breasts until a couple days after your baby is born. Then your milk will come in and trust me you'll know when your breasts have offically produced milk.

Some women leak it, some don't. Usually closer to 38 weeks is when you'll notice it for sure.

I am the proud mother of 2. It was my experience that I didn't have any milk production to my knowledge until after I gave birth. From what I recall learning prior to delivery of my first was that once the placenta was delivered it releases a chemical or something that then tells your body to start making milk. I do know of people that while pregnant had the feeling of a let down of their milk but never actually had any fluid substance.

It isn't the actual MILK, but colustrum. It is a yellowish substance that is wonderful for babies! You can leak it during pregnancy, normally after 20 weeks. Not everyone will---and thats normal too! Your actual MILK comes in a few days after delivery.

I began leaking breast milk before I gave birth. It's better b/c when the baby is born you don't have to wait until your milk comes. It's already their.

Some woman lactate (colostrum) during pregnancy and some don't and start after giving birth. It just depends on the person, every woman and every pregnancy is different. It's perfectly normal not to lactate during pregnancy. Your actual milk comes in a few days after delivery. I actually lactated (colostrum) before I even got pregnant, and that was due to my birth control pills that I was on.

I did not until after I gave birth, and your breast milk will not come in until a couple of days after your baby is born, and trust me you will know your breasts will be huge and rock hard if you don't breast feed...

Yeah, when my aunt had her baby, it wasn't until after she gave birth that she had breast milk.
