Are evil looking people really evil? Or do they just look so.
For example....Cristopher Lee ( dude in lord of the rings, Saruman) he always gets the role as villains. BUT, is the actual actor, person, really evil? Like is there a greater chance for an evil looking person to be evil? There are some non-evil looking people who are actually evil......yeah, you get the point.

its a stupid question. But hope some people will give an answer or opinion.... :]

the folks who did the make Saruman look evil did so on purpose - they (metaphorically) beat him with an evil stick to make him seem more evil in the movie, and therefore force the audience to subconciously accociate Saruman with being evil.
He may look evil in real life, but it is probably just a couincidence.

I feel 50/50. I don't believe there is anybody in this world who doesn't have a slight glich of evil them. Not so much as evil, but more like a need to kill. Because humans are humans and only in recent years, have we accomplished a sense of socialness and kindness towards one another. But in earlier times, and some places today, there are cannibals, child sex trade pursers, headhunters, serial killers...over all anything that has a mind which has been abused. Not neccesarily does a person have to be abused to be a killer of catagorized as "evil." Narrow-minded people just tend to think that. But clearly anybody could be evil...but there is never a good guy or hero in this world. because we you call doing a good dead in this country, is a bad dead in another country and also the opposite of that.

Funny how this actually works in reverse. Many of the serial killers are almost baby-faced. Women trust them because of their round features.

Some of the hardest looking bikers I know are some of the softest heart guys in the world. Most of them do enormous amounts of fundraising (especially for kids). So go figure!

And the roles folks play are just that, an act. Archie Bunker (played by Carroll O'Conner) was reactionary and as right-wing as they come. Carroll O'Conner was a Progressive/Liberal.

no there is no connection between a person's looks and his/her character. most serial killers look like presentable, respectable members of society and you'd never know the henous things they do in the dark.for example ted bundy. he looks like he was popular in high school or something. you'd never know he habitually raped and killed women.
i think Christopher Lee is always picked to give the character a more sinister appearance. would you want to watch the lord of the rings if you saw the trailer and saruman looked like a meek timid feeble child? no, didn't think so.

There isn't a kinder, more gentlemanly, or sweeter man that Christopher Lee. He is know thought out the industry for his lack of ego.

However, Joan Crawford was an unmitigated witch as was her buddy, Betty Davis. Both had huge egos and great insecurities.
