i can add a carrot to make an exponent so it would be (-x)^2(-x^2)^2(-x)^3 (i did not no u could do that)

(-x)^2 * (-x^2)^2 * (-x^3)
(-x)^2 = x^2 because minus times minus is positive
(-x^2)^2 = x^4 when you take a power to a power you multiply the powers together 2*2 = 4
(-x^3) = -x^3 If you meant (-x)^3, it's still -x^3
When exponents are multiplied, you add the powers together
2+4+3 = 9
The sign would be negative
So the answer is -x^9

In text you can type a carrot for the exponent.

(-x)^2 (-x^2)^2 (-x^3)

= -x^9
