Yes, it is possible. You may need to go to the doctor to get extra fluids if you are vomiting a lot.

My first trimester was awful!! Forget what they say about "morning sickness". it's not just in the morning!!! If you are really sick, please don't be afraid to call your OBGYN. That is what they are there for.
I often felt bad to call and "bother" them, however, I soon got over that. I did call if it was urgent. I'd rather have medical help from a trained Doctor rather than try to go it alone or depend of advice from friends or even the internet.
Try to get lots of fluids and keep small meals a constant. i carried soda crackers everywhere with me. They did help somewhat. Nothing helps 100%.
It's funny, now that my son is 18 months old, I really have a hard time remembering just how sick i felt when pregnant with him. Other women had told me that you forgot those memories, as they are replaced with new and happy ones. They were right.
Good luck and congratulations!

yes..but that is severe and you need to see your doctor or go to the ER about it...
otherwise you will get dehydrated and or end up in ketosis....
they can give you phenegran in a shot at the hospital and by mouth at home and it doesn't hurt the baby at all..
i was very sick with my last pregnancy and had to take phenegran...
