i told my friend...well i think she's effen HOT for getting up there and dancing like no one's watching and not caring everyone's making fun of her. my friend stared at me blankly and nodded.

i guess feeling warm and fuzzy inside is what let's you know that you have done a good thing. nice of you to standing up for that girl. i think it's hot too when people are confident enough not to get bothered by what other's are thinking of them. as for your other friends, they better hope they don't get big in the future - i doubt if they could handle criticisms well. see, people who give criticisms very easily usually take them quite hard.

Big people enjoy doing everything their smaller sized sibs enjoy - dancing, sex, etc. The dancer is comfortable in her own skin - more power to her and to you for not feeling the need to put her down. By the way, your friend has shown that she will say negative things about you too if you're out of earshot.

A few years ago, at a high school talent show, a rather large girl got up on stage and did an interperative dance. Guys in the crowd shouted "Whale on the beach! Whale on the beach!" A**holes! I thought that girl had more guts than anyone else in the show. I mean, WTF? Heavy people aren't allowed to dance and have fun? Grow the hell up people.

i noticed heavier people dance more. i think because you have to have passion and drive to dance well. people that may not be considered beautiful aren't clouded by thinking i better than you, actually they are on the other end of the stick. it is a shame but that is the world we live in. i love to show off in public when i feel insecure, it makes me feel better. maybe that was what she was doing. but who knows? what is important is that you aren't afraid to stick up for people at your own embarrassment. good job!

As long as she wasnt dressed all skanky, I wouldnt care. BUT if she looked really dumb dancing,like she didnt know how, I would laugh because of that, not because shes big.

hey, dancing's a great way to lose weight, and heaps fun too. good on her for not giving a crap and just having fun, and good on you too for sticking up for her... confidence is very attractive.
