That you felt that if you made yourself exert anymore energy, that you would faint, or spasm, or just break down in someway....

Just want to know if anyone else gets so weak and exhausted. I am almost 13 weeks...

I don't know if it was the pregnancy or increasing stress at work. But I did end up quitting my job about my 5th month of pregnancy. My bosses seemed to be not so cool about my getting pregnant and seemed to be increasing my workload to force me to quit. I probably would have stuck it out there if I wasn't pregnant, but I didn't need all that added stress (physical and mental) while I was pregnant. I'm SO glad I quit. I work part time now and our baby is almost 4 months. It's perfect!

yes i did

i was working for people i considered friends at the time

the thing is the worse i felt the nastier they got

and when i finally had to quit the fireworks really hit the fan!

(BTW it was an older couple who had already had 3 grown kids of their own)

this may sound selfish but you are the best person to look after yourself and be sure that others are looking out for you also

no I did not have to quit working......

yes the first trimester is hard, and very tiring. so is the third. you will notice a difference if you take you prenatal vitamins, and cut out stuff like caffeine. drinking lots of water helps, and you can still exercise, which boosts energy also. good luck.

if you are tired ,quit work right away.Just because other women are super women and super moms doesnt mean you should feel obliged to do it all.We may not know what comprises are being made in their lives .So if you are tired dont work.Dont feel guilty about quitting either.Your health and peace of mind and peaceful sleep are of utmost importance.
