I don't swim very long about 45 minutes to 1 hour with a 5 minute break 3-4 times a week, but I am developing swimmers shoulder.

I am just a beginner so my technique is probably really bad. I am trying to improve my technique by following some tips I found on the internet.

Does any one have any other suggestions?

You have to build up your shoulders so be sure your coach is have you do many dry land exercises like push-ups and crunches and running. My kids does 100 of each plus about a mile and her shoulders are fine so far.
