Shin splints.100%.its a common injury for football.its caused by your bones constantly hitting a hard surface(the ground). Its nothing to worry about-take some time off(a week) and go back to your sport, it can really limit your play if you decide to play through it and will only become more painful. Its recurring so everytime you feel it stop-take some time off, then you'l be ok to play for a while before it happens again

You could have shin splints like the other user's have mentioned. This is generally caused when running on hard ground or by using the wrong footwear, also if you are running flat footed rather from your toes. The only real "cure" is rest but if you are going to go jogging get a good set of running shoes make sure you fully stretch your calf muscles and are fully warmed up before you begin

Shin splints. You need new shoes, dude. Go to Foot Locker or something like that and get a pair of runners with gel on the heels. I got a shin splints problem, too, and those sporting shoes guys knows what they're talking about.

You have shin splints. They often either when you first start out running and are not used to the exercise or due to overuse. You should rest for a few weeks and then resume jogging. Try to avoid landing on your heels when you jog and adopt a more flat footstrike. Make sure your shoes are well-padded.

The muscles that "cover" your shins contract during/after exercise and when they do create tension across the shin bone. The tension these muscles create is often referred to as shin splints. Its really a case of finding a way to stretch these muscles that will solve this condition.

shin splints. Stretch before running and possibly get better shoes... sometimes shoes that don't fit properly can increase the likelihood of getting shin splints. I've begun gatting better shoes by Asics and haven't had shin splints since, used to get them all the time.

Your shins hurt because the muscles are going through the process of lactic acid fermentation- this is normal. It's a form of anaerobic respiration that your cells generally do when you are exercizing and there is not as much oxygen in your body.

The process of lactic acid fermantation builds up lactic acid, which causes muscle soreness.

...it doesnt matter if you are 13...it's normal for anyone who exercizes...
