It's not all Muslims in general, just the ones that that hit the headlines.
eg:
The one who wouldn't show her face on the bus to verify her ownership of the bus pass.
the teacher who went to the interview without her veil but then insists on wearing it to work.
the ones that preach outside mosques glorifying terrorism.
the terrorists themselves.
These are the ones that give the rest a bad name, they are in the minority, but this does not help the majority.
It is all about ignorance when you think about it, a gay guy has Aids, a Muslim has a bomb in his back pack!

No. I do not dislike you because you are an Asian or because you are a Moslem. I do not dislike anyone because of their race or religion. What I dislike is people being disrespectful of other religions even though I do not agree with some of their policies...eg. that women wear hjiba in the West. I feel it totally unnecessary. I can understand it in Asia as I have lived there a number of years and the society there is entirely different. I cannot see, for the life of me, that Moslem men here will look at womenfolk any differently to the Christian or other men here. Women here are well aware of the different types of men there are and know full well how to deal with them. These YOUNG women who wear the hjiba have been to school here and know what is what....they are not niave as they are in Pakistan or other Asian countries. I personally feel that they wear the hjiba NOT for religious reasons but, on the contrary, to show that they are different and to attract a certain type of man....one who will think that she is pure and innocent...which may or may not be the truth.

I follow no religion, don't mean to offend anybody, but I was brought up in a cult, and to me, they're money-making business.
I believe in being respectful to each other and do as you would like to be done to you. That should work.
I do not hate anybody, especially Muslims. I think they're very respectful, polite and caring people. Some extremist bastards have really ruined it for them, really damaged their reputation, but don't worry too much, it's only thick people who would blame the whole of the Muslim community for what some crazy person is doing out there.
We're all the same, different colour, different language, different beliefs. Same hearts.

Dear Naz,
i am a white Christian, and i think that people who denigrate others beliefs and cause slight on race or nationality are just pathetic excuses for human beings. there is but one god, and we all have the right to worship [or not] that god in whichever way suits us best.
for any person to say that to be Muslim is evil, is like a vegetarian saying that eating meat is cannibalism, well plants live too! so if you eat plants, that makes you a cannibal too! we all evolved from the primordial goo!
think about this one; if you take away the skin, what is underneath looks the same, white black brown green yellow were all the same deep down.
there are enough ways for humans and even planet earth to be wiped out, so why should we kill each other?
why make life harder for your neighbour?
after all the root of religion is charity, tolerance and most of all ...LOVE

I answered a question of yours last week and looked up your 360, looking at your photos, it is obvious that you are Asian and with Naz for a name, I kind of guessed that you are Muslim, what difference dose that make? None what-so-ever! I am happy that I know a little more about you and I am glad that you are on Yahoo along with all of us. We are a real `mott-ley` collection aren`t we? As for my religion, I`m sorry to disappoint you, buy I am a scientist a non-believer. I am very happy for other people to believe what ever they wish to, and I look forward to the day when someone can show me proof of their God.

I'm really sorry if someone offended you about your religion. That's really sad. And what difference does it make on what color your skin is? Or what nationality you are? I don't judge anyone for any thing! That's not my job. Besides I like all people! I work out in public with all different kinds of people, and I don't like one over the other one UNLESS they are liars, thief's, hateful, rude,or down right awful people! So pick your chin up, and ignore those people!
I believe in GOD. And I"m just plain ol white, female, & grown. No offence taken & why shouldn't I like you?
I'm christian.

I think respect is due all round this is where the problem lies, people not caring for each other, some don't even have self respect. Why dislike someone because there different is usually through fear or lack of understanding.
I am not a churchgoer but try to act Christian.
I wish you well.

I was christened C of E and although I still respect the church and the religion I was brought up with I'm not a believer. I don't see any point in disrespecting any religion, people can believe whatever helps them through life.

I respect all religions although not religious myself..... I work in a primary school with 89% Muslim, Somalian, Chinese, Polish and other nationalities. Any of the children i work with are treated like my own - with respect. There's good and bad in all races and religions etc, and the bad are those that set out to spoil it for normal beings like us. Sod the lot of racist people....not worth bothering with! Hope you feel a bit better now!

I would never dislike a person because of their religion, I may not be best friends with someone who is against my beliefs because we will not have a lot in common, but that wouldnt stop me talking to them or going out.
I am an orthodox christian but not a very good one if im honest.
But my dad is muslim, my mum is chriastan and wanted her children to be.
