that the media and "experts" are really pushing the Big Ten? It seems that since the begining of the year the Big Ten has been THEE conference for both the media and supposed "experts".

to me the big 10 is over rated especially with Wisconsin. sure they might have two or the top teams in the nation there not doubt about that but clearly the SEC is alot better. Iowa and Penn St. were also overrated in the preseason.

Its either the conference that has the best team or whatever state you live in that will get the most popularity that you'll know of. Last year and the years before, USC got it all so therefore the Pac-10 got some cred. I live in Oregon, so all I hear about is Oregon, Oregon State and the #1 team in the country which happens to be Ohio State. Also, the Big Ten is the first conference in the new century to have three teams that have three teams with eleven wins apiece; Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
This happened for two reasons, Wisconsin beat all the Big Ten teams they played except for Michigan and they did not have to play Ohio State. Also, the teams did not have to go undefeated to get eleven wins. They could lose one because teams now play one extra game.

Because at the beginning of the year, OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Iowa were all supposed to be really good. Michigan State was also expected to do well. Of course now, OSU, Michigan, and Wisconsin were the only three to do anything at all. I have heard a lot of "experts" say that at the end of the season, the SEC was the toughest conference...that's why Florida got the NC bid instead of UofM. Things change as do opinions.

cuz they always have a favorite conference...people have to rate one against another...they just can't stop. SEC was really the toughest conference. when the bottom teams can compete with the top teams then it's a good conference. the bottom of the Big Ten stunk. people always look at the headliner to crown the best instead of looking at the whole picture.

I'm not from Missouri but you gotta show me. Ohio State has never beaten an SEC team in a bowl game.
