how can i make up my own lyrics?

i am trying to make my own album with guitar and vocals. i thought of lyrics for two songs. i don't know how many songs i should have on the album and what to sing about.

I use to write music.. What i would do is, figure out what rhythm you want to play, then write songs about what you know.. Write songs about your life.. Write songs about events that makes you feel good.. Write songs about what makes you feel sad..

Writing music isn't so easy, sometimes it is and times it's not.. It trial by error kinda thing.. You write what make since to you, write a little then play a little until you have your music the way you want it to sound..

You can write love songs, if you have a girlfriend, write a song to her.. And it's good to use more the 3, 4 or 5 chords.. Use that inter mix with each other (complementary of each other, for a nice blend).

And be creative, don't use Bland guitar strokes, unless you want bland sounding music.. Use mixture of strokes when you do a rhythm.. Be creative, don't let your music slouch and sound drab or abstract.. Because abstract becomes boring and you don't want that.. A good rhythm makes good music, bad rhythm makes boring music..

Have however many songs you want on it. You probably want at least 10. Write songs about stories of things that happen to you or your emotions or your view of something.
