she only comes to sell turnips on sundays - 6am to 12pm. she's a brown warthog animal with a hankerchief, i think
she walks around town all day on sunday.
you can buy turnips from her, and 8 days later they will rot.
that means that you need to sell to nookbefore the next sunday, or they will go to waste. sometimes you will make money, sometimes you will lose money - there's no real way of telling
there is an advantage of having 1 or 2 turnips that rot. if you leave them on the ground, ants frequently gather on them, and a cockroach sometimes eats some rotten turnip

Joan comes to town, every sunday, and is there from 8am-12pm (if I remember correctly), and then every day Nook has 2 different selling prices, an AM price and a PM price. Check your prices every day, and if they keep going up, you should have a spike, I can't remember the exact detials, but spikes are usually a couple hundred/turnip, and usually happens around Wednesday or Thursday. If you do not have a good price at Nooks, do not sell them, simply buy as many tables as possible, and put them in your house, as they do not rot on tables, and I am pretty sure they do not rot in storage cases either, but please do not quote me on that second part, lol.
(you ask the question twice, so why can't I answer it twice? lol)
