Assuming that you actually got a good college education and didnt just spend four years getting high and sleeping around!....
OK, 1) you learn a lot about how the world got to be the way it is - by studying history, science and arts.
2) you learn a lot about how to express yourself well - how to organize your thoughts, develop evidence, research and then explain what you have found out. One of my kids told me recently that he figured he wrote over 2000 pages of essays in college.
3) you meet a lot of smart people - some of them can be your friends for life. They teach you things and help you learn.
4) all of the above and other things make you capable of handling a tough job that you can get paid a lot to do. So then you can live on your own and be proud of the fact that you are a thoughful, constructive person who is making his.her own way int he world.
