absolutely. you don't need an attorney for a divorce unless there is a large property situation, children, both parties don't agree, other than that, you can do it yourself. there are a lot of self help agencies to help you with this, paralegal services work well also. I did it that way and everything worked out just fine. the courts will help you also and the protocol of the filing process. make sure that you get a certified copy of all the papers you file for future reference if needed. there is a slight charge for this though. but in the long run, its worth it

You need to check with the county clerk to see their regulations on this issue. Most offices have the papers for you to fill out and get notarized. The important thing to remember is to make sure they are completed exactly the way the clerk's office requires. If you do anything wrong you will have to fill them out again. Be sure to check the legalities of the divorce requirements and fulfill all of them.

Yes, you just have to have the proper forms and the filing fees. You don't have to have a lawyer. The cost of fees depend on the state and county where you live. In some cases, depending on where you live, if you are on a limited budget, the fees can be waived with the proper fee waiver form.

Most states will allow you to do it. You can get the papers on line. If you have an estate, you may wish to have a mediating attorney look it over to be sure it says what you wish it to say. That cost is anywhere from $75-300, cheap. And you're sure it's done correctly.

Depending on the State But most will allow this. It is just like representing yourself in court.
However if the respondent gets a lawyer then you will probally want one as well. depends on how aimiable the divorce is goin to be.
