Tell them that YOU don't want to die becasue of THEIR habit. Second-hand smoke is as bad for you as smoking the cigarette is for them.

Would they let you smoke? If not, then tell them that every cigarette they light up in the house is the same as giving you half of it. The least they could do is take it outside..

It is best to just dont say anything, just give the parent some gum, and go find a hobby if the smoking bothers you.
Far as clothes, use fabree allergen mist stuff. Keep a window cracked in the house at all times.
U will be grown soon and then u can then have your own place and tell smokers to smoke outside.
Give your parent respect, and let em smoke cause tobacco is American heritage, it is what this country was built on.
Get your parents some vitamin C to put back in body what smoke took out.
If your parents drink alcohol , get them someB vitamins.

Well you can't control what your parents do. So dont feel responsible. If you want to keep the smell off yourself, then change your clothes right before leaving the house, and try wearing a robe while at home, that way the smell will stick to the robe and not you. 4 more years and you can move out...start a count down.

Get them some leaflets from the clinic, doctors, etc, there full of scare tactics and good reasons why you should quit. They also list ways on which you can recieve help and support through what will be a difficult time, as for the smell, you've had it, my gran used to iron my school shirts, they used to reak.

It's sad to have such irresponsible parents that brush you off. The smell is very hard to get rid of when smoke is in the house. Ask your parent if she/he could at least smoke outdoors so you don't smell and have your friends smell smoke on you.

I'm sorry to hear your smoking parent does not care about their health nor yours. They need psychological help.

Is there another relative you can go live with?
Perhaps you can go live with them. Get a doctor involved with talking to the parent.

Get rid of the parent's cigarettes as well.
