My opinion is that any other music type (Rock,R&B,Classical,,,,,,) has no age limit but there are many people that think rap has one. I will admit I cant see Snoop Dogg rapping at 60 years old but if he is still good at, why stop. What do you guys think????? I think it doesn't because rap is still new. Remember it started in the Late 70's early 80's. The others been around forever.

yeh i think there's a shelf life. Fans get older along with the rappers, too. And I don't think ill be listening to the hard rap when I'm 40 as maybe today

I do think rap is a young person's gig. That's why the shelf life of most acts is very short. I doubt we'll be seeing Snoop & Eminem doing the same thing at 40.

Compare that to rock. Look at the Stones for example. :)

Hey, if Snoop is still pimpin at 60 then he's going to be rapping, unless he passes his lyrical throne to his son... he could live through him
