Why don't you go to a local or national news website and pick the News Story of the day and write yoru thoughts and opinions on that? You can also once a week give maybe a review of the new movies coming out and how you think it will be or why they should or should not have made this film. Just be creative you do not always have to write about your life and let people in on what you do. Best of luck to you in your journal.

Sometimes I keep a dream journal, you have to keep it by your bed and write down everything you remember as soon as you wake up. If you don't do it first thing you may find you forget them quickly.
It's really fun to go back and read.
As for regular topics, be creative!
Maybe find some quotes for free from the internet and write one down a day, and write all about what you think it means and how the meaning affects you personally.
A final idea is pick something to do as an expirement, like, give out 5 compliments a day to friends or strangers and see what the reactions and results are.
Anyway I hope I inspired some good ideas!

I attempt keep a mag well-known about what I did in the course of the day, how i believe, what is going on immediately contained in the international and that i'd stick in a image, newspaper clipping or draw a image that sums up me on that day. Write about something a mag is a own element write about, the most weird element that has befell to you, positioned on some music and purely write to the music and note what you ultimately end up with or attempt rename your international and your persons and relations. have relaxing with it :)

start with, "today i thought about..." or start abruptly, you'll get better at it.
