If you have already talked to them about it and they still will not respect you, then all you can do is call the police station and ask an officer to go give them a visit. Most of them will be happy to do it. They will not tell them who called.

The problem already exists. Your neighbor cares about nothing but themself. You advised talking to them doesn't help. So what are your options? If it's an apartment call the landlord and let him hear it. If its a private residence talk to other neighbors, see if they have the same opinion. Are you scared? There is safety in numbers. Call the police every time it's going on. You don't have to leave your name. If the officer comes by and is worth his salary they will at least hear the noise. If there is an ordinance against loud noise, they should stop and talk to the idiot on their own without you making a complaint. You don't have to have the police come to your door. You can walk into the police station and ask to see an officer about a noise problem. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease! If an officer doesn't help, go to his supervisor and ask why? If that doesn't work, send a letter to the Chief. If that doesn't work, call the Mayor. If that doesn't work call the alderman in your district. Remind him your one of the people that put him in office! If that doesn't work l would look for another place to live, cause you live in a town that doesn't give a squat!

First of all, are you a Christian? You do not need to answer that question, but if you are have you thought about asking your minister, or maybe just asks other neighbors if this is bothering them as well. How old are you roughly mid-30, younger than 25, older than 50; something?
And roughly how old would you say that the neighbors with blaring music are?

File a report, they will get a warning and eventually they can be fined. If you have a HOA well then just sic it on them.
If all else fails rent a 50000 Watt RMS sound system and point everything at their house long enough for it to become a neighborhood incident!
Good luck on this one, it is a tough one.

How nice have they been. Tell him in the daylight that the next time this happens you will call the police and then, follow through. He's offensive and out of line with you, so, fight back. Stand up for your rights or learn to live with it.

most cities have a noise ordanance - you can call the cops and they should enforce it. However a friend of mine got his own music (Laurence Welk) turned up the volume and aimed it at their house. Evenually there was a white flag waving.
