grizzly bear, no question! the grizzly is built for tearing things up and has a very dense skin and fur...there used to be fights between grizzlys and lions way back in the 30's and before...the grizzly alway won.
These were some of the original "caged" events.

A cougar would not even think of bothering a Grizzley Bear. It would use its speed to save its miserable hide. 150 lbs of kitty vs 1 ton of muscle, claws, and teeth with a bad temper. No contest.
