How do u find the x- coordinate of the vertex of y=l3x-6l ...those are 2 lines... absolute value :)?

The vertex will be at the point where y = 0... on either side you will have positive values.

0 = |3x - 6|

Because 0 has no negative or positive component, you can ignore the absolute value signs.

Solve for:
3x - 6 = 0
3x = 6
x = 2

The vertex will be at the point x = 2

solve for when y is zero
|3x - 6| = 0
3x - 6 = 0
x = 2
