Well, as the first guy said, there is no way to upate you GPU, but you can do other things that will enagle you to turn up the graphics settings. If you turn down the settings for Windows, more system resources will be free for the games. This would be *like* adding more RAM. If you have money, you might look into getting better and more notebook memory. I wouldn't go beyond 1 GB because after that you may start to get dimishing returns for the money you are putting into your machine. Lastly, is addition to the things that the first guy said, if you have experience with partitioning hard-drives, you could make a new partition that is first on the disk and reserve it only for games, that would be *like* getting a faster hard-drive. Good luck and I hope you can figure something out.

You buy a new laptop. The inspiron's don't have an upgradeable video card, so there's really no way to upgrade it.
you can get the latest drivers for the display adapter that you currently have and that might help a tiny little bit, but nothing to write home about.
You can add more memory, and the system performance will increase as a whole, so in a way that would improve graphics.
You could get a faster hard drive, again in a round-a-bout sort of way this would theoretically increase graphics.
