FFIII is the only final fantasy (to date) that can connect to WiFi
however, the WiFi doesn't add much to the game. the only thing you can do on WiFi is send mail to other players that are on the WiFi server at the same time.
you cannot play the game alongside another person with the WiFi, the mail is the _only_ thing that WiFi adds to the game.
instead, you are supposed to play this game on your own, just like most of the other final fantasy games
if you send 7 mails to telipapa or whatever the fatherly figure of your main guy is, and 4 mails to different real life people, that's how you open up the onion knight job class
when you send mails, as far as i've come across, you can't type in anything, they are preset letters (but i've never mailed a person before)
