1. You divide by three. The next ones would be 1/3 and 1/9
2. You multiply by three. The next ones would be 27 and 81
3. a. 3: 1(3)
b. 8: 2(4)
c. 15: 3(5)
d. 24: 4(6)
e. 35: 5(7)

For the first one, every number up there is 3^k, where k changes. Just keep changing k the same way.
For the second one, there's a fixed ratio between the elements.

Are you kidding me? This is so basic. Do you not listen in class? Do your own homework. If you can't handle this then you're in trouble when things actually get complicated. My oldest is 6 and can answer all of these!!
