I am doing a project for school "CAN YOU MAKE IT AT SIXTEEN" Which is supposedly to teach us kids dont get married young. Anyway, I need a job for a 16 year old that has not finished/in high school (without a diploma) and doesn't have any experience. I need a decent salary to pay for rent, bills, and baby stuff. I also need verification that they would hire a sixteen year old. P.S. I'm a 7th grader that could really use your help!!

Some resturaunts will hire sixteen year olds but without the assistance of welfare I see no way that you can make it on that kind of salary. Unless you work 2 jobs but then you'll have to figure child care into your plan unless you have a relative or friend :-) to watch your children.

I would say anything fast food related just off the top of my head.
I worked at sonic at 16 and lived on my own. It was hard at times but you can make decent tips being a car hop and I made it.

well, im in 8th grade and i kno cuz i've been looking ahead @ jobs. i kno that you can be a lifeguard at 16 and make 12 bucks an hour- a lifeguard in chicago told me this, so this is only in chicago park districs as far as i kno -and you dont really do much. you could also work at hair cuttery- my cousin did -and make a decent amount. my last one is domestic work- unwanted chores around other's houses -that can give u a bunch.
