If it concerns you so much, then you shouldn't have let it happen. It's just a bruise and everyone will see that you have:
1) A lover
2) A vacuum
3) Someone trying to choke you to death
4) A vampire

Put a little first aid cream like neosporin on it to help it heal faster.

you can speed it up by pressing it with a spoon and spreading the blood, so i ve heard, it hurts and leaves a small unnoticeable scar

i dont know why it works but when i was a teen in italy we used toothpaste it works goes away quick.
