I have a DSL connected desktop and my laptop has a wireless card. It was working but my motherboard died shortly after the hard drive crashed and I don't want to have to pay Best Buy another $50 to get the wireless connection to work on the laptop again. It can't be that difficult - I thought XP would figure this out automatically. What are the steps I should take? I can't find any wireless connection settings to configure. Since my computer was wiped out - do I need to download some drivers for the card or additional software from somewhere? The instructions given in the Help Center are useless because I don't have the selections they are telling me to click on. Help!

I'm using XP and the desktop is connected directly to a DSL box. So it's entirely automatic for the laptop - it's supposed to be. The laptop is the wireless machine it's a "wonderful" Medion.
