Freedom, hahahaha. Those first two answers made me wet myself. I work at an oil company in the UK, that also has offices in the US. Whenever we speak with a colleague in the states, they stick to a call script, and we are constantly reminded not to mention activities in other countries we're based in - such as Cuba.
If it is true that Americans have freedom - and I doubt they know what it is - it's only because they take it away elsewhere. The best thing about America is that it's far away, difficult to reach (just getting through Customs is a nightmare) and passé.

Sorry, but I disagree with all of these nice people. The ability to hope , and dream....that is by far the best thing. Although NOTHING is guaranteed here in the US, the ability to do so is forever here.
