Is it when these AAers go to extreme "bottom dwelling" strategy to catch "newcomers" seeking change from a self-defeating behaviour, and prostelytize them into their cult to inflict more pain and suffering upon them?

To coerce them into believing they are "powerless" over their thoughts and behaviour?

And insult their integrity by attempting to convince them that human self-will is a disease and should be avoided?

Stay away from this dangerous cult, or you might find your self destroyed and in a far away country drinking electric koolaid with Bill Wilson!

The only thing dangerous that goes on at an AA meeting is the amount of coffee being consumed....don't talk crap about an organization that has helped so many unless you have something better to offer. Get off your soap box.

I think a lot of these people feel that if they can convince others of the program, it must really make sense; it helps still the doubts they have themselves.
