In 7th grade, you should be joining clubs and having fun...it's kinda young to be dating. It takes awhile for boys to mature also. Enjoy being a kid for awhile longer!

I had a guy BFF for 5 years, I started liking him in 5th grade. I told him I liked him and it really weirded him out. So I guess that was a mistake...but now, I'm in 6th grade, and we're BFFs again. It's like it never happened. Now, he's got my back, and this year, I liked another guy in my grade. This guy I've only known for 6 months. I told him I liked him. We got along great...for a while. I asked him out, he said yes, and we went out for a week...then it happened. My friend (the BFF since 1st grade, the one I liked in 5th grade) told me that my BF never liked me in the first place. He liked 2 other girls and was dating me out of pity. I was sooo pissed. Now, I'm not so pissed, but just really annoyed, curious, and confused. I think, 'why didn't he tell me the truth?' I now can't trust guys I don't know. I pretty much lost my friendship with this guy I liked.

My advice is to not rush it. I know you've known each other for a long time, but by asking him out, you could ruin your friendship if you ever break out. Or you could really freak him out, and end up having him avoid you. You don't want that. The best thing to do is wait. Maybe try asking around to see who he likes. But if you do end up going out, please remember to make sure that he dates you because he WANTS to, not because someone forced or dared him to...or if he is lying to you. Don't get caught up in love, because one day it catch up to you. Good luck! :D

You probably just like him because he's such a great friend. I hate to tell you this, but I wouldn't ask him out. Once you break up, his friendship is lost. I would wait it out until high school and see how things are going then. Maybe ask him out freshman year, if you still think you have a crush on him.

Start out by talking nicley to him , as he does to you, then tell him you want to bring your relationship a step up and that you really adore him, if hes not sure tell him your ok with it and continue with being best friends. I really think he'd say sure or yea but if he does say no or hes not ready, just calm down, if you show tooo much emotion he might feel embaressed and guilty.

Try asking him out. If its to weird since you guys have been friends for a LONG time ask him to join you and your friends and go out for ice cream or something simple of that nature. Good luck.

you'll never get nowhere in life beatin around the bush and holding back, I learned that the hard way, just tell him that you want to take your friendship to another level and ask him do he feel the same way and if he doesn't tell him that it's ok yall can remain friends.
