well since a pound is 16 ounces, then 14 ounces would be 14/16ths of a pound which reduces to 7/8ths...
and the other is 4/16ths which is 1/4th...
Answers: 14 oz= 7/8 lb.
4 oz= 1/4 lb.

neither is a full pound. A pound is 16 ounces. So 14 oz is 7/8s of a pound and 4 oz is 1/4 of a pound.

There are 16 ounces in a pound.
No matter how many times you keep asking this same question over and over, there are still going to be 16 ounces in a pound. Just accept it and stop asking over and over.
