Well I have that white stuff on my underwear,i am always hungry, im 12, i have lots of mood swings, do you think I might me close?

Periods are different for everyone. I started when I was 12. My mother told me I started having mood swings at about 10, and I didn't even realize I was going to start my period in the 2 weeks before. When I started to get cramps, I was confused, and thought I had a stomach ache.
Some girls start their periods when they are 10, others when they are 16....it's really just different for everyone. If you want an idea of when you might start, ask your mother when she started. Often, the ages are similar.
Most women get sore breasts about 2 weeks before they start, and you might notice feeling swollen or crampy in your lower abdomen. But since you haven't started your first period yet, it's hard to estimate when you'll start based on signs like these. My advice to you is to carry a pad with you in your purse/bookbag, and just be ready for when it starts.

Hi my name is Tammy and yes you just might be getting to that big change in your life. I've a daughter that started her period when she was 13, but for me I didn't start until I was 18 and yes I thought something was serious wrong with me, but it just wasn't meant for me to start until my body was ready, so relax and enjoy your life your period will start before you know it.Take care.

Try to avoid getting it by eating less. When you are hungry, don't eat. If you are straving, eat low fat/fat free foods. You may be able to put if off for years if you work out a lot as well.

yeah porbably in the next few months you will start. but enjoy not having one while it last. because you will have menustral periods for 40 plus years.

yeah you might start in a couple days of or mouths and it sucks so enjoy not having it yet

maybe soon. but don't be too excited. every body allways want their period, but when they actually get it, they hate it.
