only do this if you know the exact URL of your fav. ones.
1. Go to Tools
2. Click Internet Options
3. Click "Clear History.
4. retype your fav. sites into your address bar

Go to the standard toolbar at the top of the explorer screen, click on tools-internet options and then "clear history" in the screen that pops up

To start with, which browser do you use? Internet Explorer or Firefox? With Internet Explorer, you go to tools - internet options - clear history - delete cookies.
With firefox you go to tools - clear private data.

assuming your browser is IE
control panel>internet options>"general" tab>delete> and select what you want to delete. you can get to internet options through "tools" menu of the internet explorer too.
However, in mozilla firefox you can delete private data from tools menu.
