Uninstall the game. Run disc cleanup, defrag, etc. Also, update drivers for your video and audio if needed. Then check your direct x, and see if you have the current version. Then try installing it again. If you don't know how to do a cleanup on your disc, or defrag, do a search in windows, it will walk you through it. For drivers, you will have to go to device manager to determine what video and sound card (if any) you may have. Search in help for how to do this also. Same for direct x.
Once the game is reinstalled, check for game updates before even trying to run it. You may want to try this first, you might get lucky. Also, in settings, once the game starts, turn down the audio and video settings, that may help too. Not sure what kind of system or game you have, but you can apply all of what I said here.
One other thing, you may want to run windows update, and make sure that everything there is up to date also...
Good Luck!!!

Your PC probably doesn't have enough RAM or perhaps your graphics card is not up to the job, possibly a combination of the two.

Might need to upgrade your graphics drivers.....or Direct X...or you might have on-board graphics, for which you will need a graphics card
