Yes, they are great for switching back and forth, you should also invest in an excersaucer, they keep babies occupied for a while. Jumpers are also really great, they will help build leg muscles. Have fun with your baby!

High Chair, swing, bouncer, walker, play pen, stroller, car seat,
carrier, bassinett, crib, changing table, etc. etc.
Get both you will be very glad you did. As far as the bouncer,
get the on that vibrates and plays music and lights up, My 2 loved it. They would keep quiet and play or sleep for hours.
Fisher Price Aquarium bouncer is the one I have. THe best $40
I ever spent. Walmart has them. The aquarium swing they have is a very good deal, too. My kids loved it.

We had both of these when all three of my boys were babies. each one liked a different one best. Although, as a newborn, they really never had the neck strength for either.I would wait until 3 months, at least, and then brace yourself for the fact that 80 % of the 'must haves' you have filled your nursery with will be discarded by your baby barely used!

yes they are brilliant but you shouldn use bouncer for more than about an hour at a time and make sure you have padding on door frame as my little man use to swing it side to side and bang him self but its fun watching him in it

Yes. I use the bouncy seat for play time and the swing is mostly for relaxing and it also helps for falling asleep. Congratulations and good luck with your new baby.

Yes, my son was "spoiled" and owns everything. Some of the things were given to us "gently used" though so it's not like we ran out and bought everything we could think of. But it does help to have different things for him because you can keep them in different rooms of the house so you have different places to sit them down when you need to get things done in that room.
