I was doing a double backflip off of the beam and I hit my head, and got a concussion. I also broke two bones in my foot, one in my ankle, and i hit the beam so hard that I broke part of my knee cap. PLEASE help me feel better!! I have to miss a whole tennis tournament, basketball season, and my concert next week, and I am really upset, and in pain!! cheer me up!!

It could be worse. You could have been that poor girl who peed herself while on the balance beem and got caught on film doing it. Hope that made you laugh. Just take it for what it is. You earned yourself what sounds like a much needed vacation. Use this time to read. Be a teenager and talk to your friends on the phone. Play computer games. Watch t.v. . Take all of the lazy luxeries life has to offer. Eventually, your bones will heal and you will be back to being on speed soon enough. Good Luck!

There isn't any different game that destroys a lady's frame greater than gymnastics. My sister, cousin, and ex had been all in competetive gymnastics and so they all have a few kind of damage that used to be induced via a fall or transfer on this game and now years later are nonetheless in soreness. My cousin had this type of consuming ailment whilst she used to be into it and now she has ballooned up tp a hundred and seventy+ kilos and he or she is handiest five' four". Get out and keep out, take a seem at a few of our US gymnastic champions of beyond olympics, the toll their our bodies took after they had been younger has come again with a vengence and now they are going to pay the rate for existence, what a terrible game to place a woman into.

u just reminded me of one of the reasons i DONT miss gymnastics. haha. i used to b in level 6, but quit a couple years ago. now my knees anckles and wrists are messed up from injuries. were u doing 2 back handsprings or a double back tuck? as much as that sucks, it could have been worse. a girl at my gym did a twisted layout off the beam, hit her head and cracked it open, then broke her whole foot and wrist when she landed.

You are a total overachiever...wow, that's a lot to miss out on!! I'm so sorry you're missing all that you describe. Get all the rest you can and DON'T OVERDO IT, or you risk re-injuring yourself and missing out on even more.
Good luck.
