Yes it is I have it and it is awesome. It has great graphics, an amazing story line and a great soundtrack. Un like other shooters, Gears Of War forces you to think. You have to take cover cause the AI are just as smart as you, they will take cover, frag you, and come after you. Plus you have an assault rifle that has a chainsaw on it.

I haven't played it, but everyone I've talked to says it's the best game out there, besides Twilight Princess I think. I think they're both in the top running for best game of the year on the major lists.

The game is really even better than the reviews it is the greatest FPS game ever because the graphics and the guns make it amazing.

yes it is..the graphics are awesome and the same with the gameplay, online, story, and sounds. its basically a horror/shooters game so if you like being scared the living crap out of you and enjoying crisping, chainsawing,blowing parts off aliens then yeah its a awesome game
