I agree it happened and I do think we need to change our terminology about a similar conflict durring the last decade:
When Hitler massacred the jewish religion to the point of almost extinction we called it Genocide and The Holocaust......
When the conflict happened in Bosnia in the 90's to early 00's we called it "Ethnic Cleansing" it was the same dang thing!!!!!!! Thank you Political Correctness for not calling it was when it was actually Genocide (meaning three ethinic factions of various religions and faiths attempted to wipe each other off the face of the earth through a series of horrific and sadistic murders and damn near succeded in doing so!!!!)

I hope you are asking this out of innocence otherwise I would say it is mockery of 6 million Jews dying during it apart from many other millions more of Catholics, poles, gypsies, gays, sick, old or dissabled people, russian prisioners, etc. etc.
Read a little OK.

If that is too much for you, just read the Anne Frank Diary.
To finish I have seen the ovens in Auschwitz and seen the ghettos in Poland.

i know it happened. i was in Germany for 6 years and visited the
sites. the incinerators, the death camps, the mass burial graves,etc.. not to mention the people i met that went through
the hell. they have told me, a lot of them didn't even know each other, that even though they have all of the food that they want, the always still feel hungry, they really love American ice cream.
it makes me feel sad to re-hash these memories but this is just the tip of the iceberg of what stories of the stories i was told.
it would make you're skin crawl of the inhumanity that was done to people of a certain religion, race, political background, or just didn't fit into the idea of a perfect nation.

YES!!
In 1979 - 1982, I worked in a Jewish nurising home as a Geriatric Aide and some of my patients were survivors of the German camps. I personally saw the tattoos on their forearms. These patients would not talk about what they went through; however, though some of their fellow patients talked about it.

Just to ask this question is beyond belief. It's like asking if WW II happened, or if Hitler lived. It shows such a massive ignorance that I fear all of history will just keep repeating itself. The Iranian president and the morons attending the conference on this subject must be insane. Yet we must tolerate their denial of history and permit these people to continue to live because we live by laws, whereas they live by hate, rage, and contempt, just as the Nazi leaders did. What a twisted bunch of fools, just 60+ years after one of the worst slaughters in the history of the human race.

yeah, I've heard some people saying that they don't believe that the holocaust has actually happened. They just think that its a web of lies constructed by the government (which government, i have no idea), or it's just some kind of propaganda. Personally, there are just too many evidence of it, so i don't see how can people possibly deny it. But I'm not bashing at those people who don't think it happened, since we are all entitled to our opinions. and what i just typed might just sound like bullshit to them.

It seems that when an enemy of Israel grows a set and stands up on the world stage, they first deny the holocaust. Why, I don't know. My Grandparents believe it did, they saw it and escaped in a trainyard in Eastern France.

Of course it happened!!! In Auschwitz, they still have the gas chambers and other buildings that the Jews were held captive in. Plus, there's the memorial sites and museums.

I know of a very charming, who survived the holocaust. But even had I never met her, with all the evidence there, I know it happened.
