this applys to people who always spend 10 -15 minutes looking for parking just to start work.

It would depend on how much parking costs without being preferred. If it's just a matter of having a better parking place with no cost involved, I would opt for the 10% raise. You're talking 15 minutes, 5 days a week or 1.25 hours a week. A 10% raise would be equal to 4 hours a week, on a regular 40 hour week. You come out ahead by 2.75 hours pay a week, not to mention the added bonus of exercise.

If perfered parking was the same cost as regular parking, just better located, I'd take the cash. Can't spend a parking spot!

10% over parking. If you have a tough time finding a parking place, get to work earlier...

Well, we have our own garage for employees to park in and it's huge so I'd take the 10% raise.
