Find out as much dirt on the the interviewer and blackmail him in the interview, e.g.~ "what makes you think you are the right person for this job?"
" err, i saw you in the whorehouse last Saturday!"

they're not interviewing 200 people for 1 job. They Are Not Completely Barmy. You are on a short list, or, there are actually 40 jobs going. Either way, your odds are something like 1 in 5 at the moment.
Prepare.
(1) search every bit of paper they gave you, including the ad, for indications of individual qualities they are looking for. List them out.
(2) search your memory for specific incidents that demonstrate that you possess that quality. Doesn't need to be work related. E.g., "good team player". Your story? you went on a camping expedition and you all got lost and started arguing about the compass. Your role was not to figure out where you were on the map, it was to cool some heads so that people could think clearly and work together. Team player.
(3) Have one TRUE story to prove you have every quality they want. Each story should be POSITIVE. Things like "my old work was rubbish so I cheered everyone up by stripping" demonstrate a negative attitude to the workplace - much more serious than the stripping.
(4) interview yourself. Write down a bunch of questions you would ask yourself, and then write down answers.
(5) that's you as prepped as you can be. Arrive early so you're not sweating from sprinting up the street, and be yourself. Good luck!

Make a list of possible questions they'll ask you in the interview and prepare your answers. Make sure you have a lot of questions about the company, what the job will entail, read their website from back to front. Be ready to relate your past work experience to the new role, and how you can apply your existing skills to the position. Look smart, but unique, and Be On Time!! Smile a lot. Be positive and not too serious, show a sense of humour (don't crack jokes, just be on the ball to make a couple of amusing comments). Good luck!!

First of all congratulate yourself for being invited to an interview. Go over your application form and make sure you have good answers for anything they may ask you about what you wrote. Ask the company what type of interview they will conduct - one to one or panel - you won't be thrown on the day if you have this information in advance. Start to think about what you are going to wear, plan your journey so you don't have a last minute panic. Relax and try to enjoy the fact that these people are giving up their time to talk to you about your career. Good luck.

that's a big question, and maybe the career counseling from your school could provide more advice. for me, i think it's important to really assess how you compare to the others being considered. are you in the top 10%? bottom 10%? right in the middle? whatever the case, this will better allow you to look at the situation. regardless, you might think of some ways to turn at least this interview into more opportunities, such as asking about future openings with this company or asking what you could do to put yourself in a better standing for future openings. other than that, try to be sharp, but also relaxed, because there is only so much you can do, and after that it is just needless worrying.

Put yourself in the employer's position. With that many people to choose from why should he / she hire you? What unique skills, attitudes, talents do you bring to the job which make you the best person? Once you can answer that question, then the next question is how do you communicate that to the interviewer? Do a web search on the company. What are their values? What is the company culture? How do you fit into their values / culture? Good Luck!

I'm sorry but I personally don't believe that there will be 200 interviewees for your position. companies just don't have the time to interview so many....maybe 200 applicants? if so the interview panel will have already narrowed it down to 12 or less. So you are in with an excellent chance...good luck

Oh for god sake; cheer the hell up - at least you've been invited.
Be positive; you have a 1/200 chance of getting it.
10% probably wont even turn up.
Be happy, and good luck.
