will it play todays games?
is it upgradeable (in a few years will i be able to put a new graphics card in it?)

dell is having a holiday deal on this for $649.00 right now
without special it is almost 1000.00

It's fine. And the other guy is wrong, if you buy a Dell E1505 with a discrete graphics card, you'll be able to upgrade it later if you wish. If you don't get it with the card and you go with the integrated GMA 950 instead, you won't be able to upgrade later because there won't be a slot on the motherboard.

That seems to have plenty of power to play those, Where are you seeing this deal, cuz I'd love to snatch up this deal, if you could drop me a link, that would be great. Upgrading as far as ram and H-D should be easy, but a graphics card might be a bit more difficult.

u will be able to play game on it, but u wont be able to upgrade it to a better video card. u can add more ram or HD but thats it. laptops are not ment to play game. if u wanna play game than use Desktop.

i don't think so...anything from Microsoft is bad...well unless you like virus magnets...my friend bought the same laptop you want and he got 2 viruses and then he could not even turn the laptop on anymore so ...get a mac
