A circle lies in the third quadrant and touches both coordinate axes. If the length of the tangent from the point A(-4, 2) to the circle is 5, determine the equation of the circle.

I'm not really sure what to do, but you could probably use the distance formula to figure out at what point the tangent hits the circle. Beyond that you're on your own. Sorry!
distance formula:

[(ysub1-ysub2)^2 + (xsub1-xsub2)^2]^1/2
