The previous civil war was between the Muslims of the north and the Christians of the south.
This conflict is between the Muslim Janjaweed and the Muslim farmers of the west.....the Darfur area. I am curious as to what people think the cause is.

Because of the propoganda in the U.S they want you to think that Islam has always taken the first step into violence instead of the truth that muslims merley defend themselves.
As for the Darfur conflict, its a disgrace to all muslims. We should help each other in this time and age where America, the superpower of the world, seeks to suppress the Muslim movement. but instead we fight over land. tsk tsk shame....

Because the Christian, Muslim conflict is such a hotbed and people like to jump to conclussions.

Tribal differences and the ruling party is going to exterminate this rival faction for whatever vague reason they have
