Hot tea and hot chicken noodle soup to loosen the mucus.
Tylenol for aches and pains.
A cold has to run its course of 7 to 10 days. Just try to relieve the symptoms.

Will myself into getting better, seriously I can do it everytime I feel a cold coming on, except earlier this winter when I had my hours cut back, was sad about my ex-girlfriend, and was eating poorly, and I think I gave myself a cold so I could wallow in more self pity. But try it, just fight it when you are feeling a cold coming, and eat well, lots of fruit!
