I got sympathy for the guy. I've been there, if only in my head. It's an embarrasing situation. I think he's misunderstood by the vast majority of people.

I don't believe in the devil. Not sure how to have sympathy for him in that case.

I read a story once written by the great poet and writer Paramahansa Yogananda who spoke about Satan as the greatest friend that Religion has. Without Satan, religion would be nothing. It gives the religious groups a reason to keep the people coming back. So...the religious leaders keep Satan alive! (Of course I don't believe in Satan ...or even evil)
It is very much like the book written by TRUDEAU where he speaks about the pharmaceutical companies creating the illness so that the cures could be sold!

If I end up being in hell after I die, I would want to chop the devil's head off and pickle it. If I went to heaven after I died, I'd just pity the devil for being such an evil creature. But who knows what the devil is really like. I mean, nobody met him and returned alive.

Let's see....The most beautiful, most loved angel in all of Heaven gets cocky, decides he wants it ALL, and shows his a'ss....I'd kicked his butt to the curb too. So, uh, no.....no sympathy.
