The only guy I can think of is Christy Mathewson. He was truly a 'classy' player and human being. Hank Aaron and Willie Mays have both admitted to using amphetamines (which were illegal to take without a prescription), so they technically broke the law. Throughout history, baseball players have cheated (Rogers Hornsby once claimed that there wasn't a SINGLE GAME he appeared in in which he or someone else didn't cheat in some way), or broke the law outside of it (drinking during prohibition, using amphetamines or steroids or some other non-prescribed prescription drug). EDIT- That doesn't mean they weren't good people, though. Roberto Clemente was one of the nicest people who ever lived, and extremely generous. But he probably took first once or twice knowing that was a strike, not a ball.

Cool. Mauer, Santana, Mariano Rivera, Oscar Gamble circa 1977,Bert Blyleven, Paul Molitor, Andre Dawson, Dave Winfield, Bob Gibson, Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth anyone who toted around that gut late in his career is cool, Kent Hrbek again the gut and being a very good if not great player, Puckett, Tony Gwynn, Terry Pendelton again gutty players. Not cool Jim Palmer, Steve Garvey, Jeter, David Wells manufactured cool is not cool, Denny McLain.

Derek Jeter is the definition of cool. He looks calm and collected under pressure. Johan Santana, Mariano Rivera, Cano (he looks completely at ease with a baserunner bearing down on him while he's turning a DP, and he is a speciman physically), Vernon Wells, Pujols, Ichiro, Derrek Lee, Johnny Damon, Steve Finley, Barry Zito.
