Because they are phoney baloney cheese and macaroni.These people crave attention and love the gossip stuff. The few good actors or celebrities never go out to clubs and do not need the publicity.

The ones doing that are attention wh*res. They say they want privacy publicly, but are really in denial. They love all the attention whether they admit it or not.
