Somehow, when you take out a cash advance, they have access to your checking account info and use it to withdraw money from your account for a service you didn't ask for. This CAN'T be legal!

These companies are NOT the loan company. They get your checking account information from the loan company and use it to cut fraudulent checks. You people obviously don't read! Also, THERE IS NO FINE PRINT THAT SAYS THEY ALLOW OTHER COMPANIES TO HAVE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION!

I called the 800 number on the fraud check and the customer service rep said "We got your information when you signed up for a pay day loan...." That, people, is NOT LEGAL WHEN THEY DID NOT DISCLOSE THAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO THIS!

It depends on the services rendered. If a person is holding a contract/account and such services are in fact underlined whether or not you knew it, then perhaps you have no action available. Then again, despite this, these companies or whatever they want to be called, could be conspiring or pirating both money and information. When you offer any information you are holding yourself hostage to whoever can grab onto the information you provide. That's the plain, cold hard fact about the system as it is.

wait, yo uwant a cash advance, and nee dyour checking account in order to make sure you pay that advance back.

how is this illegal? YOU would have to know that before agreeing to their terms of service, which would give you the cash.
