Some of the other answers include games that are rated T (for kids 13 and up). I would avoid Tekken and Star Wars Battlefront, but Loco Roco is great clean fun.

I think Loco Roco and Lemmings. There are a few more, but the majority of titles available are geared towards a more mature audience, and that, I believe, is sad.

Lumines is good for all ages. It's a thinking game, so it'll probably be good for him. Katamari Damacy is also fun for all ages. Oh, and look into Loco Roco.
